The Nintendo 64 (N64) is considered one of the modern generation video game players. It first came on the market about 12 years ago and quickly caught on. Despite the competition from Sony, and Sega, millions of devices have been sold worldwide.

It is the last generation of Nintendo player to use cartridges to store games. Another unique feature about N64 is that it is the modern home console to come with a controller featuring an analog stick.
When first released the package came with only two games: Super Mario 64 and Pilot Wings 64. Despite the hefty price of $200, it sold easily. Over the year, the N64 has maintained it reputation – being playable and durable.
There are a number of great games that can be played on this machine including Mario 64, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Resident Evil 2, Zelda, Shadows of the Empire and Conker's Bad Fur Day.
To keep up with the competition, Nintendo also released a product update to allow for more speed, better graphics and ability to play more games.
Today the N64 can be available anywhere from $29 and up depending on its condition. For the money it is a bargain.
